You continue to inspire me. My little 15″ farm coughed up its first fresh basil of the year today and there are, I swear, five nascent little peppers slouching toward Bethlehem to be born.
Hooray! Basil is good and good for you, and growing things are tonic for the harried soul.
My three little basil plants have been yielding amazing amounts of leaves for two weeks now. The lemon thyme and rosemary are doing well, and we’ve just started on the flat leaf parsley.
