Every year, this mysterious tree looks depressed until all that parasitic fruit migrates to the lawn. I can't decide how I'd like to console it, since it's not my tree.

  1. The fruit thingies are at least as large as persimmons and may be persimmons, but I cannot tell from a distance. Also: you’d think I would have trespassed for a good look by now.
